It is with profound honor and enthusiasm that I welcome all distinguished participants to The 4th Asia Pacific Workshop and Conference on Molecular Medicine. As Albert Einstein once wisely stated, “The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing,” and indeed, “Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience.” These profound insights remind us that true knowledge is cultivated through continuous inquiry and becomes truly valuable only when shared and applied for the betterment of humanity.

Molecular medicine stands at the forefront of modern biomedical science, integrating multiple disciplines—physics, chemistry, biology, bioinformatics, and clinical medicine—to decode the complexities of life itself. Over the past decade, remarkable advances have been achieved in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying both normal physiology and disease pathology, opening unprecedented opportunities for disease prevention, modification, and cure.

The 4th Asia Pacific Workshop and Conference on Molecular Medicine (APCMM) serves as a vital platform for continuing our collective exploration of these groundbreaking contributions. This gathering brings together academicians, scientists, researchers, and practitioners from across the Asia Pacific region and beyond to engage in meaningful discourse, exchange innovative ideas, and share the latest discoveries in molecular medicine and its applications in health science.

This year's conference will feature highly reputable speakers—both local and international—who will generously share their expertise and experiences in molecular medicine and cutting-edge techniques. We are privileged to explore critical topics including genetics and epigenetics, regenerative medicine, non-communicable and infectious diseases, emerging biomedical research disciplines, and complementary and alternative medicine. Additionally, our parallel bioinformatics workshop represents an exciting opportunity to delve into computational approaches that are revolutionizing our understanding of biological systems and human disease.
